SHOW POSTPONED - Dorrigo & District Kennel Club Show - 28th & 29th Jan 2012
Due to forecast conditions over the next 4 days the Club and Dogs NSW have decided to postpone the above named show, to a date to be determined after further discussions. The decision has been made due to the flooding being experienced along the eastern seaboard between Port Macquarie and the Gold Coast, this flooding has created an unsafe traveling environment for exhibitors as well as isolating a large number of them.

2012 Purina Sydney Royal Dog Show - 5th - 18th April 2012
The Sydney Royal will be extending the online closure date for entries until next Friday 20th January 2012. Click here to start your entry.
Also due to microchipping being compulsory on registration applications for all new puppies, there is now an extention on Baby Puppy Sweekstakes until 22nd February 2012.

Notice to Members - Dogs NSW Accredited Breeder Scheme
The Dogs NSW Voluntary Accredited Breeder Scheme to recognise and encourage our many responsible breeders is now in operation. The scheme is open to Dogs NSW members of 5 or more years standing and encompasses a high standard of health and welfare and disclosure to purchasers. Read more

Compulsory Microchip Prior to Registration - 1st January 2012
DOGS NSW wish to advise that as from 1st January 2012, to assist with positive identification, it will be mandatory to include individual microchip numbers for each puppy on the application to register a litter.
