Pedigree and PetRescue have joined forces to raise awareness for pet adoption and help feed homeless dogs. Every year, more than 100,000 dogs are euthanased in Australia, simply because many Australians aren’t aware they need homes.
The Pedigree Adoption Drive, which runs from 31 July until 8 October, aims to find homes for at least 6000 dogs and raise $125,000. All proceeds will go to PetRescue, an animal rescue organisation that has saved over 75,000 homeless animals.
The Pedigree Adoption Drive has also committed to donating a bowl of dog food to feed a homeless dog for every fan of the Facebook page.
