chequeDog shows can be great fun and an opportunity to talk to breeders and see a variety of purebreds in their best form. But there’s one special dog show that is a worthwhile cause for charity!

Dogs NSW’s Dalwood Children’s Home Charity Shows on November 25 – 26 at Orchard Hills raises funds to support vulnerable, young children and their families in New South Wales. This annual event has been running since 1932 and has raised about $1 million to date!

During 'National Pet Cancer Awareness Month', biotech company PharmAust is calling out for dogs to help evaluate a new anti-cancer drug (MPL) shown to be safe and effective in preliminary trials. The dogs must be newly diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma and have not started any treatment.

The MPL program involves two consultations/treatments at the Animal Referral Hospital in Homebush. PharmAust will cover all compassionate use program costs, including travel expenses to and from the ARH, as well as costs for the initial conventional chemotherapy treatment upon program completion.
