brown snake editThere have been a number of recent snake sightings at Dogs NSW grounds over the last few days, particularly now as the weather is warming up.

As November through to March are the worst months for snakes, members are asked to be careful and more aware that they are around. Stay vigilant and move away if you see a snake. Check carefully when setting up and pulling down for shows.

If the unthinkable does occur and you are bitten, please ring 000 immediately.

For veterinary care please call 24 hour emergency care at: Blacktown 24hr Animal Hospital, 118 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown  (02) 9621 4161 or St Clair Animal Hospital at 1 Olliver Crescent, St Clair on (02) 9670 4955
