For dogs to be eligible to compete in the Neuter Classes and attain points towards the new ANKC Neuter Titles the dog must be recorded on the ANKC National Database as ‘Neuter’ or ‘Spayed’. Members are required to submit a copy of the Veterinary advice to the office, which identifies the dog in question by registered name and registration number to enable the animal file to be amended. 

There is no charge for this process unless the member requires an updated registration certificate, then the original certificate needs to be submitted along with the applicable fee.

The dog is not transferred as such but remains on the Main Register and is notated as “Neuter” or “Spayed” in the “Sex” field on the database.
