Brian YorkThe PURINA PRO PLAN Sydney Royal Dog Show is set to be another exciting event for dog lovers!

The event, from April 6 to 19, will again welcome international judges and thousands of entries across Conformation, Agility, Obedience, Junior Handling and Sweepstakes classes, during the 14 days of competition – all vying for best in their breed and discipline.

This year, Dogs NSW will be running ‘Ask the Breeders’ forums, during which Dogs NSW members will speak to the public about their breed, the many benefits of purchasing puppies through a Dogs NSW breeder, and how to locate ethical and credible breeders of healthy dogs. This will be located next to the Dogs NSW Information stand.

Badge“Dogs NSW actively promotes efforts to ensure that the public is educated, understands the demands of responsible ownership and have access to healthy, well-bred dogs that are right for them,” said Lyn Brown, Dogs NSW President. “Dogs are on show to the public at the PURINA PRO PLAN Sydney Royal Dog Show, and the more information Breed Clubs can share with people the better!”

The Dogs NSW ‘Ask the Breeders’ talks will run between 15 to 30 minutes. If you or your Breed Club would like to be involved, please contact Kerry Christofi at Dogs NSW on 02 9834 0217 or email Dogs on stand
