Ask the breeder logo webThe Sydney Dog Lovers Show is fast approaching with many of our breeders and Affiliated Breed Clubs once again gearing up in readiness for the big two day event - August 5 and 6.

Dogs NSW 'Ask the Breeders' talks have now been finalised into a timetable for each day and we are very excited to present these talks to the general public, educating them about purebred dogs and the benefits of purchasing a puppy through a Dogs NSW member.

Each talk will cover a brief description of the breed, including temperament, training and care requirements, what Dogs NSW breeders provide in ongoing care and support, questions to ask a breeder and what to ask of them, with time at the end to take questions as well as meet the breed. Dogs NSW will also supply information sheets about each breed, as well as information brochures on such topics as 'Looking for a Puppy?', 'Why a Purebred Dog', 'How to Find the Right Breeder' and 'Are you Ready to bring your Puppy Home?'

Chairman Lynette Brown said, “Dogs NSW Breed Clubs are one of the best sources for anyone new to the breed, seeking trusted information and reliable advice, which is needed to make informed decisions about selecting the right dog or puppy for their home and lifestyle.”Photo credit Dog Lovers Show

A big thank you to all those participating Dogs NSW Breeders and Affiliated Breed Club representatives, who have offered to present the talks with their beautiful dogs.

This should be a most successful and fun weekend for all!
