DOGS NSW Board Elections

THE ROYAL NSW CANINE COUNCIL LTD (trading as DOGS NSW) Board of Directors Elections 2025

In accordance with the Articles of Association, all financial Members of the RNSWCC Ltd (trading as DOGS NSW) as at 30 June 2025 are entitled to vote in their designated Region.

This year, an election will be held for the Metropolitan Region, with five (5) positions available. Elected Members will serve a three (3) year term, commencing from the conclusion of the 2025 Annual General Meeting and expiring after 30 months from the date of that Meeting.

We encourage all eligible members in the Metropolitan Region to participate and have their say in the future of DOGS NSW.

VOTING OPENS 9AM, SATURDAY, 6 SEPTEMBER 2025 

Eligible members will be sent an email with the link to vote soon after 9am from Vero Voting directly.

VOTING CLOSES 12 NOON, FRIDAY 26 SEPTEMBER 2025.

Please Note: Associate, Junior Members and Affiliates of RNSWCC Ltd (DOGS NSW), will not be eligible to vote.

 

NOMINATIONS

Please click on the link below to view the nominations which have been received by the RNSWCC Ltd (trading as DOGS NSW), for election to the Board of Directors in 2025 for a term of three (3) years. The elected Directors will take up office from the conclusion of the RNSWCC Ltd 2025 Annual General Meeting and expiring at the conclusion of the first Annual General Meeting held more than 30 months thereafter.

HOW TO VOTE 

Voting for the 2025 Elections will be conducted by Vero Voting, providing additional voting methods including electronic, postal votes and phone voting. To ensure a smooth process, there are a few things you need to consider, these are outlined below.

1. CONTACT DETAILS

Ensure DOGS NSW has your latest address, phone and email in the members’ database. Are you receiving your Weekly Woof e-Newsletters? If you are, you are ok. Most votes will be distributed via email from 6 September 2025. If you do not have an email address on the members’ database, Vero Voting has sent you a paper postal vote from 1 September 2025.
 
2. PAPER BALLOTS

Paper ballots are by request only, except for members with no email address. These are sent to the printers and mailed out with a tight deadline. All requests for a paper ballot must be received before Tuesday, 9 September 2025.

3. SHARING INFORMATION WITH VERO VOTING

Your personal information is managed in accordance with the DOGS NSW privacy policy. Information shared with Vero Voting is for the specific purpose of providing you with the means to participate in the voting process.

4. REQUESTS
Any requests or changes of details must be received by DOGS NSW before Friday, 19 September 2025 via: [email protected] Subject line: Elections 2025.

5. VOTING INSTRUCTIONS

Voting instructions and login details are sent directly by Vero Voting. If you have received an email, SMS, or letter from Vero Voting, please check it for your login details. If you have misplaced this information, please ring the Vero Voting support line on 1300 702 898, not DOGS NSW. When you have conducted your vote, Vero Voting will send you a receipt either via email or SMS.

VERO VOTING FAQ

Vero Voting is an independent Australian company that specialises in planning, management and delivery of independent enterprise agreement votes, ballots, elections, and AGMs. They have worked with small and large companies such as Reserve Bank of Australia, Bendigo Bank and KPMG. Dogs West, Dogs Victoria and Dogs Queensland, have all used this service and process successfully.


HOW WILL VERO VOTING GET MY DETAILS?

Vero Voting asks for a voters list from DOGS NSW. This voters list will contain details of each eligible voter, whose membership was financial at 30 June 2025. They use the voters list to manage access to their voting system, and to contact you with voting information. 


WILL VERO VOTING CONTACT ME IN THE FUTURE?

Once a ballot, or election is over all personal details are deleted in line with their internal security policy. The only way you will be contacted from Vero Voting is if you are on the voters list for a ballot or election in the future, in which case your details would be provided to them at that time. 


DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO I VOTED FOR?

No. Vero Voting only conduct secret ballots, elections, and AGMs. Every ballot, election, or AGM vote entered into their system is anonymous. Your personal information enables authentication and is not associated with your vote preference.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY VOTE?
Vero Voting will email you your electronic vote from 6 September and follow up a few days later with a SMS voting option, if you have not voted. If you do not have an email address, you will automatically be sent a postal ballot from 1 September.


WHAT IF WE HAVE A JOINT MEMBERSHIP. DO WE RECEIVE TWO VOTES?

Vero Voting will send you a vote for each person who has a Joint Membership. If you share an email address, both votes will be sent to the same email address. This applies to Life Joint Memberships, Concession Joint Memberships and Joint Memberships.


I CAN'T FIND MY LOGIN DETAILS TO ACCESS THE VOTE

Voting instructions and login details are sent directly by Vero Voting. If you have received an email, SMS, or letter from Vero Voting, please check it for your login details. If you have misplaced this information, check your email SPAM of JUNK folder, or please call the Vero Voting support line on 1300 702 898.


HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY ELECTRONIC VOTE WAS SUCCESSFUL?

When you have conducted your vote, Vero Voting will send you a receipt either via email or SMS.


WHEN DO I RECEIVE THE RESULTS OF THE BALLOT?

Vero Voting will send the Declaration of Results to the Company Secretary of DOGS NSW at 4.00pm, Friday 26 September 2025. The results will be announced immediately after that time via the DOGS NSW website and other media platforms.
