Governance Framework Working Party
The Governance Framework Working Party (GFWP) has been established to review and update DOGS NSW governing documents section-by-section to ensure they are modern and fit for purpose. It seeks to modernises structure and policies to support the Board, committees, and affiliates efficiently moving forward.
The panel ensures strict compliance with State/Federal legislation and DOGS AUSTRALIA regulations. It’s aim is to simplify complex clauses and redraft into concise, easy to understand, plain English language to boost member understanding and compliance.
This is a lengthy project, and we anticipate a new Constitution and Regulations to be offered for acceptance in mid-late 2027.
