The Murray River Retriever Day will be held on Saturday 25th July 2026 from 9:00am till 4:00pm at DOGS NSW grounds, The Bill Spilstead Complex for Canine Affairs, 44 Luddenham Rd, Orchard Hills NSW.

This will be an open day for all of you that own a Murray River Retriever, or if you just love the breed, please come along for the day and celebrate Australia’s only home-grown Gundog.

Your Murray doesn't need to be registered with DOGS NSW to attend. We would like it to be a day that we can share information, including having your Murray Registered with DOGS NSW and organising some fun events for our dogs.

This will be a great day out for everyone and activities include a Breed Showcase, Retrieving Demonstrations, plus meet the Dogs and their Owners.

With this year being the fourth year of our beautiful breed being recognised by Dogs Australia, as well 10 years for BB Murrays NSW breeding program, we invite you all to attend.
With a couple of dog judges and special guests on the day.
