While successful in the show ring, with in Show wins at All Breeds and Best In Specialty shows, and Runner Up Best of Breed, Challenge Dog, Challenge Bitch and Reserve Challenge Bitch over consecutive years at the Sydney Royal Easter Show, our dogs are known for their outgoing easygoing temperaments, their moderate size and their good bone. Founded in 2010, Metropolis breeds for temperament and type, and proudly continues the bloodlines of Pitswarren and Kimlise Hungarian Vizslas. We aim to produce excellent companions with temperament and conformation conforming to the breed standard, able to perform as working gundogs if desired. We have had no significant health issues, and all breeding stock is hip scored. Our dogs live as pets and in kennels. They flourish on consistent discipline, plenty of exercise, and affection incidental to both. Pups are exposed to a range of stimuli, with significant hours invested in preparing each pup his or her new home. There is generally a waiting list for pups, but at times there may be dogs who need to be rehomed. We are also happy to provide referees to discuss their Metropolis experience with you.

Metropolis Hungarian Vizslas has 2 male English style pups with Hungarian and American influences available to go to homes from mid- April 2023. Sire and Dam and numerous relatives live with us and are available for viewing. International Champions on both sides of the pedigree. Our pups are only available to caring homes who understand the breed.

We provide transparency via ongoing Facebook updates, professional litter photos, an extensive Metropolis Puppy Raising Manual as well as starter bags of premium puppy food and professional trainer support. Parents' hip scores available. References from vets and people with decades of experience in the breed are available onsite and on request. Pups are crate trained and have undergone neurological stimulation exercises to increase their resilience, as well as exposure to a range of surfaces, sounds and people. All pups are registered with DOGS NSW, and of course (as required by law) wormed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
