We are a highly respected and reputable breeding kennel with over 80 Specialty BIS and Allbreeds BIS awards, and well over 100 Australian and International champions bred. We have a combined 65 years experience with Irish Wolfhound ownership, handling and breeding between us. Central to our breeding programme of quality Irish Wolfhounds are dogs which have the correct temperament, and are healthy, and physically sound, and with the ability to live up to the standards required to perform their original purpose. We source for our breeding programme from the best available genetic lines internationally and locally. The Irish Wolfhound breed database is used to assist suitable genetic matching of parents. Our aim is to produce true to type and size, long-lived Irish Wolfhounds which are suitable for home or show, that will preserve the best qualities of the breed for future generations to enjoy. To that aim, we ensure extensive health and temperament checks are performed on puppies prior to any placements as either companions and/or show pups. Where possible the parents of the pups have regular checks, including heart testing, throughout their life for known breed-susceptible diseases, their overall health, and their soundness, structure and longevity. We insist on remaining a valued resource to new puppy owners to help them through their journey with their new four-legged family addition. We also aim to educate dog conformation show people in the breed's correct conformation, showing and handling practices. To this purpose we lead the judges training scheme lectures that train new conformation judges in all aspects of the breed. We also encourage those wishing to welcome an Irish Wolfhound into their life to participate in the Irish Wolfhound Club of NSW, in order to gain access to the many educational resources , both written and also through the knowledge of club members. You will not regret welcoming an Irish Wolfhound into your heart.
