Our aim is to preserve the "Heart & Soul" of the Italian breed-‘Cane Da Pastore Maremmano Abruzzese’ -/ Maremma Sheepdog for future generations to enjoy. We are very passionate about our dogs and are committed to this beautiful and unique breed.
All my breeding has strong emphasis on maintaining the Italian genetics which have been developed over 2000 years. The lineage of all Scintilli dogs are well known here in Australia and Italy they are all of outstanding working types, genetic soundness, beautiful natures, excellent body conformation (head, good pigment, black nails, strong jaw, correct teeth and coat). In addition to the superb genetics, all of our dogs are given lots of love, and have the best of both worlds, by being part of our family, and or the freedom of our farm to be the guardians many species of our livestock. We also have beautiful days out with our dog at times at conformation dog show to promote the love for our breed and to title for excellence for breeding. We have excel for years now, winning Multi BEST IN SHOWs, Groups and classes wins and have the very first Supreme Champion for the Australian History. We are extremely proud of the dogs we have bred, with many progenies of the Scintilli dogs have proven and are excelling at being livestock guardians, show/stud dogs and very loving companions.
Our Breeding Environment: Health checks along with Hip and elbow scores are of the highest importance to us and also Temperament and breed type is paramount in our selection process. We want the offspring from our dogs to be able to fit in with their new families! We breed puppies with good sound temperaments to fit in with your family's lifestyle, giving them ample exposure to the sights, sounds, smells, and activities. We ensure that all dogs are well socialized around people, farm animals and pets. We observe Puppies growing up and pick natures to suit their intended environment. Expect to get a happy healthy confident puppy along with a live time support.
Puppies are vet checked, vaccination and microchipped at 6 weeks of age, wormed to schedule of up bringing and are registered with ANKC.
