We adore our wheatens an are enthusiatic about this lovely affectionate non-shedding low allergy breed as I myself am very allergic to standard dog hair. We aim to breed healthy well tempered well structured wheatens with the correct irish coat.
While always loved dogs as a hobby and shown and trained them since a child it was a delight when we discovered this rare Irish breed in 2000. We eventually chose a bitch, Aoife in 2009 and have enjoyed our time together, training and showing and with the support of fellow breeders mentoring bred out first litter in 2001. We have since bred 8 carefully selected litters all health tested and, with fellow wheaten breeder's support, produced lovely dogs of our breed for families as well as show success Best in Show, Classes in Show, Best of Breed at Sydney Royal, winners of National pointscores. Using my biomedical background I have enjoyed examining the health side of breeding and we properly health test the parents and puppies, only considering for further breeding those that are successful in such as well as well tempered and show judges approve.
we are happy to discuss this lovely breed and consider happy dog passionate homes for our waiting list :)
