Rotary Dog Park Play Day

The Rotary Club of Berry is leading its next local community project - the Rotary Dog Park - Off-Leash Area. This is a community-funded project (with Council approval), but they need community sponsorship and donations to help fund it.

Community sponsorship options and the detailed plans for the Dog Park will be announced at a Rotary Dog Park Play Day on-site at 11am on Sunday 16 November 2025.

The Rotary Dog Park - Off-Leash Area will occupy a large, grassed area adjacent to the Centenary of Trees pathway in North Street, Berry.

The Project and Fundraising
Construction will commence as soon as possible and take place in Stages. Stage 1 includes fencing around the Dog Park, dividing into large dog and small dog zones; entry gates and signage; water supply; and some seating. The estimated cost for Stage 1 is $70,000 and this will enable the Park to be opened for use.

Further developments (as funds permit) will include dog agility and quiet dog zones, more trees and landscaping, internal pathways, plus shade shelters and additional seating.

Donations are being gratefully accepted now, to help get the project underway
