From Dogs Australia: Updated list of breeds that can be assessed under the RFG scheme

To follow is information provided by Dr Arthur House, Chief Assessor Australia, Respiratory Function Grading Scheme who has received an updated list of breeds that can be assessed under the SchemeĀ from the Royal Kennel Club:

Boston Terrier
Chihuahua
Shih Tzu
Boxer
Dogue de Bordeaux
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
British Bulldog
French Bulldog
Affenpinscher
Japanese Chin
Pekingese
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
King Charles Spaniel
Pomeranian
Griffon Bruxellois
Maltese
Pug

These breeds are grouped as follows:

Bulldog / French bulldog / Pug / Japanese Chin and Pekingese are breeds considered high risk for BOAS (10% grade 0)

Griffon Bruxellois, Boston Terrier, Dogue de Bordeaux, King Charles Spaniel and Shih Tzu are breeds considered moderate risk for BOAS (25 - 50% grade 0)

Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chihuahua, Boxer, Affenpinscher, Pomeranian and Maltese are breeds considered lower risk for BOAS (50% grade 0 and 75% grade 0 or 1)
