Chocrador was established in 2002 with first litter born August 2004. My aim, consistent with the philosophy of Dogs NSW,is to breed with a view to improving the breed while at the same time producing loving, happy puppies to enhance the lives of the family members of the homes they go to. While loving the appearance of the chocolate Labrador, I have chosen more recently to focus on genetics, confirmation and nature, making colour a lower priority. My breeding takes place on our cattle production and Black Angus stud property, \\\"Springfield\\\", 10kms west of Merriwa in the Upper Hunter Valley but we are fortunate to have a Sydney home as well and I am able to show puppies and the dam in Sydney once the puppies have reached 6 weeks of age. When pups are small, their whelping box stays in the kitchen where I can keep a watchful eye on the babies and their mother. They are handled from birth and relaxed and well adjusted to family life.
The breeders shown are members of DOGS NSW and registered owners of purebred dogs who have chosen to be showcased in our online breeder directory. These breeders may advertise litters for sale. In providing you with their details, DOGS NSW make no representations as to the reputation of any breeder or as to the soundness or suitability of any puppy you may decide to acquire from any breeder. You must satisfy yourself that any puppy you may decide to acquire is healthy, sound and meets your requirements.
